The advancement of a scout is incredibly import to Troop 9. We always try to carve out time for the scouts under first class during camp outs, as well as occasional troop meetings, for rank advancement.

There are seven ranks in the BSA: Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class (Half way there!), Star, Life, and Eagle Scout. The Eagle Scout is a prestigious rank in the troop, the scouting community, and the general public. It is one of our goals to help all scouts to forge their path to Eagle.
