Troop 9 Merit Badge Program

Merit Badges

On October 23rd, Troop 9 started merit badge classes during the troop meetings. The merit badges being offered for this session are Personal Management by Mr. Mannke and Mr. O’Hare, and Emergency Preparedness by Mr. Nystrom and Mr. Heimburger. Scouts not taking either of those merit badges will meet with Mr. Barthel during merit badge class time to determine which merit badge they can take.

Upcoming merit badges will include the Fingerprinting merit badge, which we will be doing as a troop under the direction of Mr. Nystrom. We will also be focusing on completing requirements for the Camping merit badge.

Scouts are reminded that many of them have a partial in the Personal Fitness merit badge and just need to pass in their 3-month fitness log to Mr. Barthel. A complete list of partial merit badges will appear here beginning next week.
